Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zziffy, a product of Zonafi Ventures (OPC) Private Limited ("Zziffy", "we", "us"). By signing up or using Zziffy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

Zziffy provides a cloud-based HR and payroll platform for businesses operating in India. The service includes attendance tracking, payroll calculation, leave management, compliance reporting, and an employee self-service application.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account using accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@zziffy.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Free Trial

Zziffy offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose a paid plan to continue. If you take no action, your account will be suspended and your data retained for 30 days before deletion.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Subscriptions are priced per employee per month, with a minimum of 5 employees.
• Monthly plans are billed in advance on the same date each month.
• Annual plans are billed in full at the start of the billing period and attract a 30% discount.
• Employees added mid-period are charged on a prorated basis for the remaining days in the billing cycle.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST where applicable.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We accept credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and net banking. Annual plan invoices may also be settled via NEFT/RTGS. All payment data is handled by Razorpay and is not stored on Zziffy servers.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a monthly subscription. For annual subscriptions, please refer to our Refund Policy.

7. Your Data

You own all employee and payroll data entered into Zziffy. You may export your data at any time in CSV format. Upon account closure, your data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted, unless a longer period is required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Zziffy to process payroll for employees you are not authorised to pay.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Zziffy platform.
• Use the service in a way that violates Indian law or the rights of any third party.
• Submit false or misleading employee or payroll data.

9. Compliance Responsibility

Zziffy automates compliance calculations (PF, ESI, PT, TDS) based on the data you provide and current statutory rules. However, you remain responsible for ensuring that the data entered is accurate and complete. Zziffy is not liable for any statutory non-compliance arising from incorrect data provided by you.

10. Service Availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance is performed between 2 AM and 5 AM IST and communicated at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zziffy's liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Zziffy after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
